I had to upsize from the large robo overpants which wouldnt go over the hip protectors in the large robo hotpants for me. These XL ones do now pass the hip protectors but are massive around the waist. There is a waist band to tighten, but its not ideal.

Perfect for protecting the hotpants from wear while diving. The belt can get occasionally twisted, but it's not a big issue.
