I never really thought about how much they helped until she forgot to wear them during a training session. When she took her shinguards off afterwards, her legs were noticeably sweaty. Granted, this was in late August when the UK was still experiencing some warm weather, but it really showed us that these liners make a difference.
They make wearing shinguards much more comfortable, particularly during longer sessions and tournaments, and the pink is a lovely touch too — practical but still fun
