How this is measured
These figures come from our own returns. Customers tell us why they are returning an item, and where the reason is size we record whether it was too small or too big. Only those directional size returns are counted here.

A brand is only described as running small or large when the 95% confidence lower bound of the dominant direction stays above half, so a lopsided result from very few returns is reported as mixed. Figures update automatically as new returns come in.
