Mercian Genesis Shinguards - Black (2026/27)
The Mercian Genesis Shinguards in black are a reliable, well-constructed piece of protective kit aimed at junior and club-level hockey players looking for solid coverage during training and match play.
At the heart of the Genesis design is a redesigned flexible plastic outer shell that balances impact resistance with a comfortable, secure fit. A reinforced rigid spine runs along the shin to provide focused protection across the tibia, particularly useful in tackles and defensive situations. Integrated air holes are built into the shell to encourage airflow and help keep legs cool during intense sessions. Inside, a foam inner layer cushions against ball and stick impacts, making these shinguards a practical, dependable choice for regular use.

- Inner layer: Foam cushioning to absorb ball and stick impacts
