Mercian Evolution Wrap-Around Throat Deflector - Black (2026/27)

The Mercian Evolution Wrap-Around Throat Deflector is a field hockey goalkeeping accessory designed to protect the throat area, worn in conjunction with a goalkeeper's helmet.

Built with a double layer of shaped foam and an integrated plastic plate, this wrap-around throat deflector offers a reassuring combination of cushioning and rigid protection. The wrap-around fit secures neatly around the neck with a Velcro fastening at the back, making it straightforward to put on and take off between sessions. It's a solid choice for goalkeepers at any level who prefer the wrap-around style over a dangle-type guard.
