Hi guys. This netting was bought for my two \"cricket mad\" grandsons, who are 9 and 12 years old. They are lucky to have near a quarter of an acre back garden, and many balls have been lost to neighbouring gardens, and damage to their own shrubs. Plus the green house and cabin windows won't have to be boarded over during the summer!! Their friends have had the same net from last years cricket season, so it was a very easy choice when we asked what they would like for Christmas.... It will be unwrapped on the Big-Day, but not erected till next Springtime. Thank you for a great present to our lovely grandsons.

I bought another brand of net (from a different vendor) before buying this one and I'm pleased to say this one is far superior. Sturdy metal poles, good quality net and adequate instructions. It has been up for awhile now and I'm happy with it.
Ok but can’t get replacement part for broken piece

The item was fine but we broke one of the metal hoops as we tried to put it together. We contacted you and you referred our request to the maker, but we’ve heard nothing since from them, so we don’t know how to proceed now. I can see replacement parts are available in Australia, but that doesn’t help!

When the product first arrived it looked like it had been used previously, poles scratched and holes in the net. While trying to put it up, firstly a pole snapped, then we realised the net was too small. Then finally after receiving replacements for both the poles and the nets, we managed to get the nets upright. Then the fabric ties for the guide ropes came away at the stitching. So we\'ve retied the ropes through the net and it seems to be holding.

Great net, teenagers can really whack a ball and it stays put! Took a while to put up but once in place all fine. It was a purchase to allow kids to practice all their shots without constantly losing balls.

The net was easy to assemble and works extremely well. We have a reasonably small garden, but the net fits and does not overpower the space. We also bought the Paceman Bowling Machine from Cricket-Hockey.com and this with the net has allowed my son to play cricket all summer.

Good sturdy cricket net, I found easy to put up on my own in 20 mins, well made responding well to the ball being really wacked against it. Best of all my Windows are safe for the summer

The net is easy to assemble, (but takes 2 adults) and instructions are clear. We haven't managed to get ours 100% straight (user error not product) - It's a brilliant affordable option for back garden cricket. Saves so much time & above all enables my sons to play shots with freedom. So glad we bought it.

Arrived within quoted delivery time, very well packaged. Not the easiest thing to assemble - it needs two people as it's like putting up a tent. But when it's up, the batting cage is brilliant!
Pros: Gives batsmen the confidence to play full shots without fear of losing balls over the fence (or hitting greenhouse!), easy to collect up balls, good value for money, excellent sales support and communication from Cricket-Hockey
Cons: takes a while to assemble.
VERDICT: Great product at a reasonable price - wish I had one when I was younger. This net is ideal for use with a bowling machine - we bought a Paceman machine at the same time and the combination is ideal for my younger son to practice batting when his big brother is away at college

The delivery of the net was delayed however once received the net works well and stops the balls hit! Quite fiddly to put up took us an hour plus. Once up seems great and works well with the Paceman bowling machine as a complete package.
