The GM Galaxy Original is a Gunn & Moore cricket bat for batters who like a modern, powerful profile with a lively pick-up.
This model pairs a shortened L540 blade with an extended spine, giving the bat plenty of mass behind the hitting area while keeping it feeling light and quick through the hands. A mid-to-high swell helps with balance and pick-up, so it comes through smoothly whether you are working the ball around or going for the boundary.
The blade is built around an F2 face profile with a Powerarc bow, putting the power where you want it when you connect. It is finished with the Galaxy Grip, which has a metallic textured surface designed to give reliable traction and control in the hands.

- Knocked in by GM's own batmakers
- Raw linseed oil applied to hold the moisture level of the blade, which reduces cracking and splitting
- Clear anti-scuff cover fitted to the face and edges to make the blade last longer
ToeTek protects the part of the bat that takes the most punishment:
- DriGuard applied to the toe to resist damp and limit toe swelling
- A specially shaped, resilient shield fitted to the toe
- Cuts down the toe damage and feathering that tapping at the crease often causes
- An extra barrier against damp
