GM Galaxy 404 Junior Cricket Bat (2027)

The GM Galaxy 404 Junior Cricket Bat from Gunn & Moore is a willow bat for young players who want a modern, powerful profile at the crease.

This is the 404 model within the Galaxy family, made in England from Prime English Willow. The shortened L540 blade is paired with an extended spine, giving a shape designed to deliver real impact. A mid-to-high swell keeps the bat feeling light and quick through the hands, while the extra mass in the spine adds stability when playing through the ball.

The F2 face profile and Powerarc bow work together to position the power exactly where it counts. For control, the bat is finished with the Galaxy Grip, a metallic textured surface that offers precise traction and a secure hold. It is a bold-looking bat with a striking livery, ideal for juniors who like to make their presence felt.

GM NOW! means the bat is prepared at the factory before it reaches you:

• Knocked in by GM's own batmakers
• Raw linseed oil applied to hold the moisture level of the blade, which reduces cracking and splitting
• Clear anti-scuff cover fitted to the face and edges to make the blade last longer

ToeTek protects the part of the bat that takes the most punishment:

• DriGuard applied to the toe to resist damp and limit toe swelling
• A specially shaped, resilient shield fitted to the toe
• Cuts down the toe damage and feathering that tapping at the crease often causes
• An extra barrier against damp
