GM Azora 909 Cricket Bat (2027)

The GM Azora 909 cricket bat from Gunn & Moore is a Prime English Willow bat for players who like to take the game on with confident front-foot strokeplay.

The Azora is a brand new addition to the GM range, and the 909 brings together a bold, imposing profile with an impressive weight-to-feel ratio. It feels light and easy to swing, yet it is built to deliver real authority at impact. A shortened L540 blade, a pronounced low swell and sweeping contours combine to create a powerful hitting zone, while the F2 face profile and Powerarc bow are designed to help the bat perform through the whole stroke.

A Fuze Grip gives a secure, confident connection between hands and handle, and the striking design introduces a completely new GM silhouette. Made in England, this is a bat for batters who want presence and precision in the same package.

GM NOW! and ToeTek fitted as standard

GM NOW! means the bat is prepared at the factory before it reaches you:

• Knocked in by GM's own batmakers
• Raw linseed oil applied to hold the moisture level of the blade, which reduces cracking and splitting
• Clear anti-scuff cover fitted to the face and edges to make the blade last longer

ToeTek protects the part of the bat that takes the most punishment:

• DriGuard applied to the toe to resist damp and limit toe swelling
• A specially shaped, resilient shield fitted to the toe
• Cuts down the toe damage and feathering that tapping at the crease often causes
• An extra barrier against damp
