The Asics GEL-Peake 3 GS is a junior field hockey shoe built for younger players who need reliable support, cushioning and grip on outdoor and artificial turf surfaces. Presented in a clean White and Independence Blue colourway, it pairs well with a wide range of kit and brings a fresh, confident look to the pitch.
At the heart of the shoe is Asics' GEL™ technology cushioning in the rearfoot, which absorbs shock during hard landings and sharp stops — a real benefit for young players who are still developing their movement patterns. Reinforcement panels at the sides and synthetic leather overlays give the midfoot a stable, structured feel, while flex grooves in the outsole allow the foot to move naturally during quick changes of direction and pivoting.
Lateral stability is further supported by a TRUSSTIC system and a wrap-up outsole design, helping junior players stay balanced and controlled during play. The heel is fitted with AHAR (Asics High Abrasion Rubber), which is approximately three times more durable than standard outsole rubber, so the shoe holds up well to the demands of regular training and matchdays. The sockliner is produced using a solution dyeing process that reduces water usage by around 33% and carbon emissions by around 45% compared to traditional methods, making this a more considered choice for the environment too.
