KNYX Cricket Helmets

KNYX build their cricket helmets on two shell platforms, the C5 and the C7, each sold in a standard and a PRO version. We stock all four in navy. Every one of them uses the brand's patented ISOFIT micro-adjustment ratchet, which sizes the helmet to the shape of your head and spreads the weight evenly rather than loading a few pressure points.

Which KNYX helmet should you buy?

• KNYX C5 ISO is the entry point: single shell, steel grille. It suits juniors moving up to senior cricket and club players who bat down the order.
• KNYX C5 ISO PRO puts a titanium grille on the same C5 shell. Titanium gives you the same protection for less weight at the front of the helmet, which is the pick for most regular club cricketers.
• KNYX C7 ISO steps up to the Radial Impact Mitigation (RIM) system, which uses moulded EPP pods to absorb and disperse impact. Steel grille.
• KNYX C7 ISO PRO is the top of the range: a carbon composite shell that spreads impact energy across the fibre matrix for more structural integrity at lower weight, with a titanium grille.

C5 or C7?

The C5 is the standard single shell. The C7 is where the protection technology sits: RIM pods on the C7 ISO, and a carbon composite shell on the C7 ISO PRO. If you face genuine pace most weeks, that is what the extra money buys. For occasional club cricket the C5 does the job properly.

Standard or PRO?

Within each shell family the PRO version carries a titanium grille in place of steel. Titanium is lighter for the same strength, so the PRO models sit better over a long innings. The C5 ISO and the C7 ISO both use steel.

Common questions

What is ISOFIT? It is KNYX's patented micro-adjustment ratchet, fitted to all four helmets. It adapts to the shape of your head, so you get a personalised fit without needing a 3D head scan.

Steel or titanium grille? Both do the job. Titanium is lighter for the same strength, which you notice across a long innings, and it is fitted to the two PRO models.

What colours can I get? All four KNYX helmets are currently stocked in navy. Check the individual product pages for live availability, as colourways can change through the season.
